Dear Parent/Guardian,
Starting this Wednesday (3/27/2024) and continuing through mid-April, we will be performing occasional funding and maintenance of student scholarship accounts between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. ET.
During maintenance, impacted functions include the ability for families to access the EMA Marketplace, or submit reimbursements, and the ability for schools/providers to submit tuition and fees or invoices. Our legacy system will also be unavailable for FES-UA families, schools and providers.
Please be assured that if you log into your EMA account during these hours and are not able to access these functionalities, your access will return after 8:30 p.m. ET.
For the latest maintenance information, we encourage you to follow us on social or visit www.sufs.org.
QUARTER 4 FUNDING UPDATE
For the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC), Quarter 4 funding will begin later this week (week of March 25).
For the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options and the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities programs, Step Up For Students is projected to receive Quarter 4 funding from the Department of Education on April 1, as stated in our handbooks. Those funds will be deposited into the students’ accounts within approximately two weeks of receiving the funds from the state.
For the Personalized Education Program (PEP), Quarter 4 funding will occur around mid-April to allow for necessary compliance and verification measures.
IMPORTANT: Step Up is not able to advise families when their student's account will be funded. However, families will receive an email once their student's account has been funded. Please monitor your email for updates.
If you have any questions, please contact us here.
Best,
Step Up For Students
