For any families who have not spent money from their student's FES-UA account for two consecutive fiscal years (July 1 – June 30), the scholarship account is to be closed and all remaining funds are to be returned to the State of Florida.
For those families to avoid the closure of their student’s account, they must purchase goods or services by June 30, 2024, and/or submit the required documentation for reimbursement before July 31, 2024. NOTE: The deadline for these families has not been extended.
Inactive families must spend at least $0.01 of their scholarship funds to keep the account active. If the account remains active, the student's remaining 2023-24 school year funds will roll over and still be usable during the 2024-25 school year. Also, please be advised that if your account reaches $50,000, your account will no longer accrue funds.
