Documents Required
For the 2024-25 school year, families must upload one of the following documents when submitting their application:
- A copy of the student’s public school progress report
- A copy of the student’s public school report card
- A printout or screenshot from the student’s online grade portal
- A letter from the student’s school on school letterhead
Uploaded documents must include the student’s name, school name, school address, school year, and current enrollment status.
Additional Information
- There is no fee to apply.
- After submitting your application, Step Up For Students and the Florida Department of Education will work together to determine your student’s eligibility. This process may take several weeks.
- You will need a valid email address to create an EMA account. Please use an email address you check regularly. If you have previously created an EMA Account, you will utilize the same account to apply for the 2024-25 Transportation Stipend. With EMA, families manage their student’s scholarships across multiple programs using a single account.
